DAZN Italy: "The objective in the future is to introduce different subscription modes" (V.Diquattro)

"The objective in the future is to introduce different subscription modes for families or for individual use. This is something we are evaluating for the next season (2022-23)," said Veronica Diquattro, executive vice-president of the OTT sports platform DAZN for Southern Europe, in an online broadcast organised by the magazine Wired Italia, on 29/11/2021.

DAZN had said it would allow its subscribers in Italy to connect on two devices at the same time, for at least the 2021-22 season, on 11/11/2021. "Since the start of the Serie A football championship (2021-22 season), we have seen a considerable increase in incorrect behaviour that cannot be ignored. However, out of respect for those who use sharing correctly and in order to protect the interest of our subscribers, no changes will be introduced during the current season," explained DAZN. The platform had originally planned this change for mid-December 2021, according to Italian press just before the press release on 11/11/2021.
