Finance: Groupe BPCE (banks) launch a thematic fund dedicated to the sports economy

Banques Populaires and Caisses d'Épargne, banks belonging to Groupe BPCE, have launched "DNCA Global Sport Equity", "the first thematic fund dedicated to the sports economy launched by a banking group in France," on 02/12/2021.

"Developed by DNCA Finance, a management company affiliated to Natixis Investment Managers, this fund targets companies around the world whose activity and future growth are linked to the sports sector. These companies are selected on the basis of their positive contribution to sustainable development issues. The fund's objective is to provide a performance over a minimum recommended investment period of 5 years," said Groupe BPCE, premium partner of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

"DNCA Global Sport Equity is a fund invested in shares of listed international companies related to the sports economy operating in different ecosystems, such as sportswear and equipment, fitness, sports nutrition, sports complexes and events, sports and esports teams," explained the group.
