Rugby: Gallagher (insurance brokerage) extends as title sponsor of the English Premiership

Gallagher, the US-based insurance brokerage, risk management and consultancy company, has extended as the title sponsor of Premiership Rugby, as part of a "mult-year renewal," said the body on 03/12/2021. The professional rugby league competition will continue to be known as Gallagher Premiership Rugby.

"Grassroots engagement has also been central to Gallagher's partnership alongside its support of the professional game, including its sponsorship of Project Rugby. Run in conjunction with Premiership Rugby and England Rugby, this ground-breaking community inclusion programme - which is set to welcome its milestone 70,000^th participant - continues to break down barriers to participation in the sport and increase the accessibility of rugby to young people from under-represented groups and parts of society," said Premiership Rugby.

Gallagher continues to benefit from the status of official partner, the first level in Premiership Rugby's sponsorship hierarchy. The company became a title sponsor of professional rugby league as part of a "multi-year" agreement from 2018-19, on 12/04/2018.
