The pay-TV groups ESPN International and Fox Sports have acquired the broadcast rights in Spanish language for 2015-2018 of the Champions League and the Europa League for Latin America (excluding Brazil) and the Caribbean, UEFA (Union of European Football Associations) confirmed to News Tank on 08/08/2014.

The rights, acquired through Team Marketing, the agency that manages and sells the rights for interclub UEFA competitions, cover all broadcasting platforms (television, internet and mobile devices).

ESPN and Fox Sports will share the broadcasting of Champions League and Europa League matches every season equally, beginning with the playoffs. The finals of both competitions and the UEFA Super Cup (the match each year early in the season that pits the last winner of the Champions League against that of the Europa League) will be co-broadcast by ESPN and Fox Sports.

Fox Sports has broadcast the Champions League, the Europa League and the UEFA Super Cup in Latin America and the Caribbean, in Spanish, from 2008-09. ESPN International has done the same since 2012-13.
