Bundesliga: Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts of the 18 clubs (December 2021)

The 18 clubs competing in the 2021-22 Bundesliga season have 145 million fans on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter, according to data collected by News Tank Football on 01/12/2021. The Bundesliga, which has an average of 8 million fans per club, is the least followed championship among the European Top 5 on these three social networks combined.

FC Bayern Munich remain the most-popular German club with nearly 89 million fans, far ahead of Borussia Dortmund with nearly 34 million. Bayer 04 Leverkusen complete the podium with more than 5 million.

Bayern was the club that posted the best growth in absolute value during November with an additional 623,194 fans, 69% of which were on Instagram alone.

VfL Wolfsburg posted the best percentage growth among the Bundesliga clubs on Instagram (+ 2.9%), as did RB Leipzig on Facebook (+ 2%) and FC Bayern on Twitter (+ 0.7%) .
