2021-22 LaLiga Santander: attendance for Matchday 16 (25,414 spectators on average per game)

Matchday 16 of the 2021-22 LaLiga Santander season drew an average of 25,414 spectators per game, from Friday 03 to Monday 06/12/2021. The average fill rate was 67.3%.

The Spanish league is gradually regaining its pre-Covid-19 pandemic stadium attendance figures. Since Matchday 8, the partial capacity restrictions imposed by the public authorities on all Spanish stadiums since the beginning of the season due to the health crisis, no longer apply.

FC Barcelona - Real Betis Balompié (0-1), on Saturday 04/12/2021 (kick off at 16:15 CET),  was the game that posted the best attendance of the matchday with 66,529 spectators at the Camp Nou (99,354 capacity), for a fill rate of 67%.

The average attendance of the Spanish league reached 19,791 spectators per game after 16 matchdays, for an average fill rate of 50.8%.

• The 20 clubs of the Spanish top flight posted an average of 28,868 spectators per match in 2019-20 (over 27 matchdays) for a fill rate of nearly 76%.
  • The last nine matchdays of the season were all played behind closed doors when the championship resumed in June 2020.
