2021 Peace and Sport Awards: five prizes awarded via social networks from 07 to 11/12/2021

A digital ceremony for the Peace and Sport Awards is being held from 07 to 11/12/2021. Due to the pandemic, "the Peace and Sport movement is unable to meet in a forum to present the awards," said Peace and Sport, the organising body of the event, on 24/11/2021.

For the 2021 edition of the Peace and Sport Awards, prizes will be awarded in five categories:
• April6 Initiative of the Tear
• NGO of the Year
• Institution of the Year
• Champion for Peace of the Year
• Special Jury Prize.

"All the Peace and Sport Awards winners 2021 and the next Champion for Peace of the Year will be revealed on our social networks, from 07 to 11/12/2021. Created in 2008, the annual Peace and Sport Awards reward organisations and individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to peace, dialogue and social change in the world through sport," added the organisation, which revealed the nominees on 17/11/2021 (see list below).
