Serie A: British biscuit brand Mc Vitie’s becomes shirt sponsor of Genoa in 2014-15

The British biscuit brand Mc Vitie’s has become the shirt sponsor of Genoa (Serie A) for 2014-15, the club announced on 07/08/2014.

The logo brand, that is owned by the British group United Biscuits UK Ltd, will appear on the shirt's breast space. The company will be displayed on LED advertising of the Luigi-Ferraris Stadium (capacity 36,700) and will exploit the club's image for its communication campaigns.

The club is looking for a sponsor for the central area on its shirt to replace Iziplay, Italian betting operator, which did not renew its partnership at the end of 2013-14. The company paid €1m since 2009-10.
