Matchday 16 of the 2021-22 Serie A TIM season drew an average of 18,572 spectators per gamer, from Saturday 04 to Monday 06/12/2021. The average fill rate was 52.6%.

Despite the capacity increase to 75% for Italian stadiums, approved by the authorities from Matchday 8 (mid-October 2021), from 50% previously, attendance remains unusually low for the Italian championship, with most clubs struggling to draw fans back to the stadium.

AS Roma - FC Inter Milan (0-3), on 04/12/2021 (kick-off at 18:00 CET), was the game that posted the best attendance on Matchday 16 with 51,185 spectators at the Stadio Olimpico (68,530 capacity), for a fill rate of 74.7%. Just one other match drew more than 25,000 spectators.
