Formula 1: Red Bull, Jumbo, Ziggo, Puma...sponsors celebrate Max Verstappen's 1^st Championship title

Dutch partners Jumbo (supermarkets), CarNext.com (car rentals) and Ziggo (telecommunications) are celebrating the first ever Formula One World Championship title for Max Verstappen (NED, Red Bull Racing) on 12/12/2021. The 24-year-old was crowned after winning the final Grand Prix of the 2021 season in Abu Dhabi (UAE).

Ziggo, which broadcasts Formula 1 in the Netherlands, had been supporting Max Verstappen (11.8 million followers on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram as of 13/12/2021) throughout the week leading up to the race in Abu Dhabi by posting videos of encouragement from the Dutch public on social media. Local supermarket chain Jumbo also celebrated the Red Bull Racing driver's title on social media. Jumbo-Visma, the cycling team (UCI WorldTour) for which Jumbo is the title co-sponsor, also congratulated the rider.
