The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, the 22nd and final Grand Prix of the 2021 Formula 1 season, won by Dutchman Max Verstappen (Red Bull) who was crowned world champion at the end of the race ahead of Britain's Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes), drew 3.4 million viewers in the UK, with a peak audience of 4.3 million during the last lap, on the British public channel Channel 4 on Sunday 12/12/2021 (race start at 14:00 CET), according to data from the audience measurement institute BARB (Broadcasters' Audience Research Board). This figure represented an audience share of 30.7%. The race was also broadcast on the pay-TV channel Sky, whose audience figures were not communicated.

In the Netherlands, the race was broadcast free of charge on two channels belonging to the Dutch telecoms operator Ziggo Sport and drew an average of 4.92 million viewers (2.542 million on Ziggo Sport Select and 2.375 million on Ziggo Sport), with a peak of 6.34 million, representing an average audience share of 87% during the race, according to data from the audience measurement institute SKO.
