ICSS to hold sport security conference on 06 and 07/10/2014 in London (UK)

The ICSS (International Centre for Sports Security), a Qatari nonprofit organisation that fights against sport fraud, will host the Securing Sport conference on 06 and 07/10/2014 in London (ENG). The theme is "Sport under threat: the game is ours to win".

"High-level speakers will debate a range of topics related to sport integrity and security including: organised crime, match-fixing, terrorism, governance and transparency and child welfare in sport," said the ICSS.

The ICSS announced its new European headquarters, ICSS Europe, on 22/05/2014. This new body, which began operations in June 2014, aims to strengthen cooperation between the sports community and European political authorities in the fight against corruption and other practices harmful to the sport.
