Canal+: first broadcasting agreement with UFC (Sub-Saharan Africa, Vietnam and Myanmar)

The pay-TV group Canal+ has signed its first broadcast agreement with UFC by acquiring the rights to the competition in more than 25 countries in Africa and Asia, announced the French group on 14/12/2021.

"The Canal+ Group has just signed a multi-year contract with one of the world's most popular sports competitions, the UFC, the world's leading mixed martial arts (MMA) organisation. For the first time, the UFC will be broadcast in French in sub-Saharan Africa, Vietnamese in Vietnam, and Burmese in Myanmar. The programming includes all of the UFC's major events and UFC Fight Nights, which will be broadcast live in these territories, as well as additional magazines and content to enhance the visibility of the competition," explained Canal+.
