Sailing: Red Bull enters the America's Cup with Swiss boat "Alinghi Red Bull Racing"

Red Bull, an Austrian energy drinks company, has partnered with Alinghi to launch a new "Alinghi Red Bull Racing" team as the official challenger for the Selection Series of the 37^th America's Cup starting in 2024, according to Swiss billionaire Ernesto Bertarelli on 14/12/2021. The team will sail under the colours of the Société Nautique de Genève (SUI).

"When we imagined with Dietrich Mateschitz (head of Red Bull) the involvement of Red Bull in the America's Cup, he said: Our way is not to get into the sport as sponsors, but to blend into the team, to form a true partnership, to nurture young athletes and turn them into the best in their field. With Red Bull we are equal partners in this venture.
