FC Bayern Munich: a €30,000 donation to a local school for people with disabilities

FC Bayern Munich (Bundesliga), through its Foundation (FC Bayern Hilfe eV), has presented a cheque for €30,000 to the "Bavarian State School for the Physically Disabled" located near the club's headquarters in Munich (GER) on 12/12/2021. The donations were mainly from club members.

Although a partnership has never been formalised, Bayern Munich has supported the institution since the 1960s. "The regular donations from FC Bayern are a great help to the education staff. The money is invested in many different ways," said the German club, whose support has helped finance, among other things, the purchase of educational materials, a digitilisation project with the installation of digital boards in all 37 rooms of the school, as well as the construction of a henhouse within the school.

"Hilfe eV was founded in 2005, prompted by the tsunami disaster in Southeast Asia. Over the course of time, the organisation dedicated itself to helping people in need in general.
