Eintracht Frankfurt has projected a €6m loss in 2014-15, announced Axel Hellmann, vice-president and CFO of the German club, on 13/08/2014. In 2013-14, Frankfurt made a record profit of €9m, which enabled the club to consolidate its equity from €3m to €12m on 30/06/2014.

Axel Hellmann projected revenues to reach €81m in 2014-15, compared to €99m in 2013-14 (a club record), an 18% loss. This is explained by the non-participation of Eintracht Frankfurt to the 2014-15 Europa League, which represents a shortfall of €14m according to Axel Hellmann. Frankfurt reached the round of 32 of the 2013-14 Europa League. The European competition contributed directly to €7m of the €9m profits made by the club last year.

Eintracht's expenditures are expected to reach €87m in 2014-15, compared to €90m in 2013-14, a 3.3% loss. The club's payroll will reach €34m in 2014-15 (42% of the club's turnover and 39% of its expenditure), €3m more (+9.7%) compared to 2013-14 (€31m).

Eintracht Frankfurt finished 13th in the Bundesliga in 2013-14.
