England: Fans demonstrate for lower ticket prices in London on 14/08/2014

Supporters are demonstrating in London (ENG) on 14/08/2014 outside the offices of the Premier League (English first division) and the Football League (English second, third and fourth divisions -- 72 clubs) to request reductions in ticket prices for games, the FSF (Football Supporters' Federation) announced on 12/08/2014.

The group is asking that leagues use a portion of TV rights to reduce ticket prices for both home and away games.

"Nine out of 10 fans think football's simply too expensive. There's always the odd deal that clubs can quote to play it down, but the truth is supporters tell us they think tickets cost too much. It's not just top-flight football either, fans throughout the leagues tell us prices are too high," said Kevin Miles, chief executive of the FSF, on 12/08/2014.

In Premier League, Hull City are offering the cheapest tickets for 2014-15 at £16 (€20). The most expensive tickets are sold by Arsenal; these can reach (excluding additional services) £127 (€158.52).

In terms of 2014-15 season tickets, Manchester City have the cheapest offer at £299 (€373) price. The…
