Hans-Joachim Watzke will succeed Peter Peters on the DFL's supervisory board and executive committee, from 11/02/2022, announced the German League on 14/12/2021. Watzke, CEO of Borussia Dortmund (Bundesliga) was elected by the clubs of the first and second divisions during the body's members assembly.
