esports: Gerard Piqué's new team Koi launches with partners Cupra, Kelme, Disney+ and Finetwork

The two co-founders of the esports organisation Koi, esports streamer Ibai Llanos and FC Barcelona (LaLiga Santander) player Gerard Piqué (chairman and founder of the investment group Kosmos), have unveiled their club's name, jerseys, colours, logo and sponsors on the occasion of a gala match (see below) versus Karmine Corp (KCorp, LFL), a French esports club co-founded by the streamer Kamel "Kameto" Kebir, on 15/12/2021.

Koi also took the opportunity to launch 'KoiTV', on Twitch. Koi's League of Legends (Riot Games) team will play in the Spanish top division in 2022. The organisation also took advantage of the event to announce the future creation of an esports team on the video game Valorant (Riot Games).

Koi already has four sponsors: Finetwork (telecommunications) as main jersey sponsor and presenting partner, Disney+ España (OTT) as jersey collar sponsor, Kelme (equipment manufacturer) and Cupra (car manufacturer) as pocket sponsor.
