Sports Interactive, creator of the video game series Football Manager, signed a partnership on 11/08/2014 with Prozone Sports, a media analysis platform used by football clubs for biographical data on players from Premier League clubs.

The biographies, contracts and positions on the pitch that were compiled by Sports Interactive for over 20 years will be incorporated into Prozone Recruiter, a newly created tool to assist clubs in the Premier League in identifying talent. The Prozone database already provides player biographies and archival video on more than 10,000 players from around the world.

"Prozone Recruiter has been built to supplement the intuition of scouts and coaches by delivering detailed performance information on over 80,000 players worldwide,” said Prozone CEO Thomas Schmider. “The Sports Interactive database is a highly accurate and valuable resource that will further enhance the recruitment services that we provide."

  • The video game Football Manager 2015 is available by pre-order for PC and Mac. Its release in France is set for November 2014.
