Matchday 17 of the 2021-22 Premier League season drew an average of 37,017 spectators per game, from Tuesday 14 to Thursday 16/12/2021. The average fill rate was 87.9%.

Arsenal FC - West Ham United FC (2-0), on Wednesday 15/12/2021 (kick-off at 21:00 CET), was the game that posted the best attendance of the matchday with 59,777 spectators at the Emirates Stadium (60,260 capacity), for a fill rate of 99.2%.

Leicester City FC - Tottenham Hotspur FC, Burnley FC - Watford FC and Brentford FC - Manchester United FC, were postponed due to cases of Covid-19 within Tottenham, Watford and Manchester United's squads. Chelsea FC - Everton FC (1-1) at Stamford Bridge (40,853 capacity) in front of an unusually low turnout of 13,933 spectators, was not due to a capacity limit, but simply because the public did not want to go to the stadium and risk catching the virus with one week to go before Christmas.

The average attendance of the Premier League is 39,583 spectators per game after 17 matchdays, for an average fill rate of 96%.
