Ligue 1: "Toulouse FC's sponsorship revenue increased 10% in 2014-15" (Jean-François Soucasse)

"Our sponsorship revenue is up 10% for 2014-15 and is expected to reach €5.5m. This changes things," said Jean-François Soucasse, CEO of Toulouse FC (Ligue 1), speaking to News Tank on 14/08/2014. The club has a budget of €32m for the 2014-15 season.

This increase in sponsorship revenue is due to the arrival of new partners during the offseason: LP Promotion (real estate), Groupe de Boussac (car dealership) Group Prévoir (insurance) and Naturhouse (nutrition). "Our ability to help brands in their promotional activities could convince some sponsors to join us," said Jean-Jacques Ngoumou, sales director for Toulouse FC, speaking to News Tank.

"We have really improved our marketing in order to fully represent the value of our club. We also did the important work of teaching about what TFC are and what differentiates us," said Soucasse. "The club's CSR [corporate social responsibility] policy is starting to make sense to our advertisers.
