Formula 1: Banco Santander (ESP) to become a partner of Scuderia Ferrari again from 2022

Banco Santander, a Spanish bank, is to become a partner of Scuderia Ferrari from 2022 and for several seasons, announced the Formula 1 team on 21/12/2021. Banco Santander will be one of the team's premium partners (second level), with Spaniard Carlos Sainz Jr. as one of the drivers from 2021. The Spanish Grand Prix is also one of the 23 races on the 2022 F1 World Championship calendar.

"The partnership, covering multiple years, will see the bank's logo back on the Scuderia cars, on the race suits of drivers, Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz, on the caps and will also be present in the Ferrari Driver Academy activities," explained Scuderia Ferrari.

The Spanish bank was previously one of Scuderia Ferrari's main partners between 2010 and 2017, during which time Banco Santander added a touch of white to the red Italian cars, including on the front and rear wings.
