Premier League: EA Sports (FIFA) extends as video gaming partner of Chelsea FC from 2021-22

EA Sports, an American video game publisher from the Electronic Arts group, has extended its partnership with Chelsea FC (Premier League) from the 2021-22 season as part of a "multi-year extension," announced the London (ENG) club on 21/12/2021.

The FIFA (football video game) license belonging to the American publisher has been the "video game partner" of Chelsea FC since the 2008-09 season. The previous agreement between the two entities was signed for the 2017-2021 cycle on 14/09/2017. EA Sports continues to benefit from the status of official partner, the second level in the club's sponsorship hierarchy.

"The renewed partnership means Chelsea FC and EA will continue delivering world-class entertainment for fans in the form of innovative digital and social media initiatives, as well as exciting experiences at Stamford Bridge throughout the coming seasons. The renewal will also have an added focus on APAC and North American rights, which are key growth markets for both organisations," said the winners of the 2020-21 Champions League.
