"The VfB Stuttgart AG (the commercial structure of the Bundesliga club) supervisory board has named Alexander Wehrle as new CEO. 46-year-old Wehrle will take up the position in April 2022, following on from Thomas Hitzlsperger who has decided not to extend his contract," announced the German club on 22/12/2021.
