Radio: talkSPORT extends international partnership with Premier League through 2018-19

The radio station talkSPORT UK has extended its three-year international partnership with the English Premier League, announced UTV Media, the broadcaster that owns Talksport, on 14/08/2014. The agreement, first made in April 2012, was set to expire at the end of the 2015-16 season. It will now last through 2018-19.

The agreement includes worldwide live radio broadcast in all languages of the 380 annual matches of the English league, except for broadcast in the United Kingdom and Ireland. UTV Media Talksport and may also sell these rights to other radio stations.

For the 2014-15 season, talkSPORT has 25 partner radio stations around the world, including in the United States, China, Malaysia, Egypt, Nigeria and the United Arab Emirates. Live commentary is provided by talkSPORT in nine languages at present, including English, Spanish, Mandarin, Arabic, Vietnamese, French and Indonesian.
