Women's football: Ata Football completes its streaming offer with the Serie A (USA, Germany, Canada)

Ata Football, a freemium OTT platform dedicated to women's football, has acquired the broadcasting rights to the Serie A TimVision, in the United States, Germany and Canada, for two years (2021-2023), announced the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) on 21/12/2021. This is the first time that the Italian women's league will be broadcast in these countries.

The platform, owned by the American company Atalanta Media, will broadcast 100 live matches of the championship over two seasons, a weekly show with match highlights, as well as the semi-finals and finals of the Women's Italian Cup (Coppa Italia Socios) and the Women's Italian Supercup (Supercoppa Italiana Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane).

Launched in September 2020, Ata Football has entered into partnerships and sub-licensing agreements with broadcasters NBC Sports (US), BT Sport (UK and Ireland) and DAZN (in the US, Germany and Italy), in order to maximise the exposure of women's football in the territories where the platform is already present (USA, UK, Ireland, Germany, Italy and soon Canada).
