UEFA: the first sports organisation with "Equal-Salary employer certification" following PwC audit

"UEFA is honoured to announce today that it has become the first sports organisation to achieve the Equal-Salary employer certification, following an audit conducted by independent auditor PwC, under the process and official methodology of the Equal-Salary Foundation," announced the European body on 20/12/2021.

In order to be certified as an "Equal-Salary employer", PwC began an analysis of UEFA in 2019. As part of the process, focus groups were set up, salaries were reviewed and the European body's staff provided feedback and their opinions on equal salary.

"This official certification is the result of UEFA's actions taken over the last couple of years to reach its objective of establishing equality in its workplace. It ensures that it applies a fair wage policy among all staff and is a key milestone in UEFA's work as an inclusive employer," said the body.
