"Ticketing is our biggest source of revenue, at around 80%, while 15% comes from the hospitality we market, and a small 5% represents food & beverages," said Éric Boullier, managing director of the GIP Grand Prix de France - Le Castellet , to News Tank on 22/12/2021. The next French Grand Prix will be held on the Paul-Ricard Circuit (Var) from 22 to 24/07/2022.

"F1 retains all the rights. We must provide it with a circuit free of any sponsorship for the entire duration of the event. It takes three weeks to organise a Formula 1 Grand Prix on site. So for three weeks, we rent the Paul Ricard Circuit, a space that is free of any sponsors. F1 comes and has all the rights. The only rights we are given are ticketing, secondary hospitality and food & beverages," explained Éric Boullier.

"It seems to be a given for many people that France is part of F1 and vice versa. But this is no longer the case.
