Premier League: attendance for Matchdays 19 and 20 (six matches postponed in total)

Matchday 19 of the 2021-22 Premier League season drew an average of 40,851 spectators per game, on Sunday 26 and Monday 27/12/2021. Three of the ten scheduled matches were postponed due to the fact that too many players in at least one of the two participating squads had tested positive for Covid-19. The average fill rate was 86.2%.

Matchday 20 drew an average of 27,522 spectators per game from Tuesday 28 to Thursday 30/12/2021. Three matches were also postponed for the same reasons. The average fill rate was 97.6%.

Of the two league games that took place over the festive period, Manchester United FC - Burnley FC (3-1) on Thursday 30/12/2021 (kick-off 21:15 CET) posted the best attendance with 73,121 spectators at Old Trafford (74,879 capacity), for a fill rate of 97.7%.

The average attendance of the Premier League is 39,454 spectators per game after 20 matchdays (excluding 17 postponed matches), for an average fill rate of 95.4%.
