FFF: signature of a new charter featuring 15 eco-responsible commitments for events organisers

The French Football Federation has signed the new charter of 15 eco-responsible commitments for event organisers (document available to download) presented on 16/12/2021 by the French Ministry of Sports, in partnership with the NGO WWF France, announced the FFF on 03/01/2022.

"Already a signatory of the first version of the charter in February 2020, the FFF is one of the 41 signatories of this new version, representing more than 250 international and national events (list available to download). As the organiser of matches at the Stade de France (men's French team and the Coupe de France final) and as a venue manager, it is thus reaffirming its commitment to environmental responsibility," added the Federation.

"This new charter represents a new stage in the eco-responsibility of sport. More ambitious, it proposes three new commitments including, digital footprint, responsible sponsorship and education for sustainable development, while developing the previous ones to be consistent with the societal challenges of today and tomorrow," continued the FFF.
