TikTok: number of followers of the 82 European Top 5 clubs with an official account (January 2022)

With 23.3 million followers, Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) remain the most popular European club on the Chinese social network TikTok, ahead of FC Barcelona (LaLiga Santander, 12.4 million) and Tottenham Hotspur FC (Premier League, 11.9 million fans), according to data recorded by News Tank Football on 03/01/2022.

The Parisian club also posted the best growth in absolute value during the month of December 2021, with an additional 2 million followers, while Tottenham (+1.2 million followers) and Manchester United FC (Premier League, +1 million) completed the podium.

The best percentage growth (excluding accounts with less than 100,000 followers) was posted by Villarreal CF (LaLiga Santander, +133.3%), ahead of Norwich City FC (Premier League, +101.2%) and Real Betis Balompié (LaLiga Santander, +51.8%).

82 of the 98 clubs in the European Top 5 2021-22 (83.7%) have an official account on TikTok:
