Serie A TIM: Instagram, Facebook and Twitter accounts of the 20 clubs (January 2022)

The 20 clubs competing in the 2021-22 Serie A TIM season total nearly 232 million fans on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter, according to data compiled by News Tank Football on 01/01/2022. The Serie A TIM is the third most followed European Top 5 league on these three social networks combined, behind the Premier League (617 million fans) and LaLiga Santander (568 million), with an average of 11.6 million fans per club.

With nearly 106 million fans across the three social networks, Juventus FC is the most popular Italian club ahead of AC Milan (44.6 million) and the 2020-21 Italian champions, FC Inter Milan (38.8 million).

AC Milan posted the best growth in absolute value during the month of December 2021 with a total of 207,175 additional followers, nearly all of which were on Instagram alone.

Udinese Calcio posted the best percentage growth among the Serie A TIM clubs on Instagram (+3.2%), as did Venezia FC on Twitter (+2.4%) and Facebook (+1.2%).
