CAF: TikTok (social media) and Umbro (footballs), official sponsors of the TotalEnergies AFCON 2021

TikTok (Douyin in Asia), a Chinese social network available in more than 150 countries and in 75 languages, and the equipment manufacturer Umbro become official partners (second level) of the Confederation of African Football and sponsors of the TotalEnergies AFCON 2021 organised in Cameroon, announced the body on 05 and 06/01/2022. This 33^rd edition of the Africa Cup of Nations, which was initially scheduled for 2021, was postponed due to the Covid-19 and will be played from 09/01 to 06/02/2022.

"It marks TikTok's first major brand partnership in Africa and supports the continent's most popular sport - football. Through this year-long sponsorship, TikTok will be supporting the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations, Africa's biggest sporting event. TikTok will also be a part of the action for the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League 2022 and the TotalEnergies CAF Women's Africa Cup of Nations 2022 in Morocco," said CAF, who have 1.6 million followers on TikTok as of 01/06/2022 (first video posted on 27/02/2020).
