Bundesliga: Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts of the 18 clubs (January 2022)

The 18 clubs competing in the 2021-22 Bundesliga season have more than 146 million fans on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, according to data collected by News Tank Football on 01/01/2022. The Bundesliga, which has an average of 8.1 million fans per club, is the least followed league among the European Top 5 on these three social networks combined.

FC Bayern Munich remain the most-popular German club with more than 89 million fans, far ahead of Borussia Dortmund with over 34 million. Bayer 04 Leverkusen complete the podium with nearly 5 million fans.

Bayern was the club that posted the best growth in absolute value during December with an additional 767,499 fans, 76% of which were on Instagram alone.

SC Freiburg posted the best percentage growth among the Bundesliga clubs on Instagram (+3%), as did RB Leipzig on Facebook (+1.8%) and FC Bayern Munich on Twitter (+0.7%).
