Cycling: Premier Tech (CAN), co-title sponsor of the Israel team - Premier Tech from 2022

The Israeli team Start-Up Nation will become Israel - Premier Tech, with the Canadian company Premier Tech becoming its co-title sponsor from 2022, according to the UCI WorldTour cycling team on 06/01/2022.

The Canadian company specialised in industrial automation (gardening, packaging, handling, water recycling) replaces Start-Up Nation Central (Israeli NGO), co-sponsor since the team joined the UCI WorldTour in 2020.

"The team already has a solid Canadian presence (five of the six Canadians in the UCI WorldTour) as well as a strong international focus, which was a crucial factor for a company like Premier Tech, that has some 5,000 team members in 28 countries and a commercial presence in more than a hundred," said Jean Bélanger, president and CEO of Premier Tech.

At the end of the 2021 season, Premier Tech ended its status as co-owner and co-title sponsor of the UCI WorldTour team Astana - Premier Tech. The Canadian company had become co-title sponsor of Astana Pro Team, which became "Astana - Premier Tech" from 2021, on 12/11/2020.
