esports: Tezos (blockchain) succeeds Orange as main partner of Team Vitality (2022-2024)

Tezos, a Luxembourg-based blockchain platform, has become the main jersey sponsor of Team Vitality's esports teams for three years (2022-2024), announced the French organisation on 06/01/2022.

"Through the biggest partnership in Team Vitality history, the brands will unite to give the organisation's community world-first ways to engage with its star players, made possible by the pioneering and energy efficient open-source Tezos blockchain," explained Team Vitality, which has raised a further €50m over three years (2022-2024) from businessman Tej Kohli via his fund Rewired.gg on 05/01/2022, the third round of financing with the Indian investor (€20m on 26/11/2018 and €14m on 05/11/2019).

Tezos succeeds French telecommunications operator Orange as the main shirt sponsor of Team Vitality's teams, notably in the LEC, between 13/09/2018 and 31/12/2021, for an estimated €2m per year over the 2018-2020 cycle.
