Spain: Octavi Anoro, former LaLiga delegate in Japan, appointed international director of the body

Octavi Anoro has been appointed international director of LaLiga from 10/01/2022, announced the Spanish league the same day. Anoro succeeds Oscar Mayo Pardo, who held the position until his appointment as executive director of the body on 31/05/2021.

Octavi Anoro joined LaLiga in 2017 to be its representative in Japan as part of the LaLiga Global Network programme, a network of 44 delegates responsible for promoting Spanish professional football around the world, which he eventually became deputy director of in August 2019. He will continue in this role as part of his new responsibilities, which will include coordinating the activity of LaLiga's 11 international offices.
