Nike: Heidi O'Neill (USA) appointed vice president and general manager of Nike stores

Heidi O’Neill (USA) was appointed vice president and general manager of Nike stores, the American sports equipment brand announced on 15/08/2014.

She will be tasked with "further elevating consumers’ experience of the Nike Brand at retail including development of new store concepts," said the sports brand.

Heidi O’Neill previously worked as vice president and general manager of Nike Women (the section dedicated to women) since October 2007. She will be replaced by Amy Montagne, vice president and general manager of global merchandising since October 2013.

Nike’s in-store sales increased by 10 % compared to 2013, and website sales by 42 %, announced Nike on 26/06/2014. The two combined represented a turnover of €3.9bn for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2014.
Nike has 768 official stores in the world on 31/05/2014, a 13.27% increase compared to 2013 (678 stores).

  • Nike announced a turnover of €20.4bn for the 2014 fiscal year (from 01/06/2013 to 31/05/2014) on 26/06/2014.
  • This is a 10% increase compared to 2013 (€18.05bn).
