Cameroon 2021: Binance (crypto-assets), official sponsor of the TotalEnergies AFCON

Binance, a Hong Kong-based cryptocurrency exchange platform, has become a partner of the Confederation of African Football and an official sponsor of the TotalEnergies AFCON Cameroon 2021 (held from 09/01 to 06/02/2022), announced the cryto-asset operator on 10/01/2022.

As part of the agreement, Binance becomes the exclusive cryptocurrency and blockchain partner of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, as well as the presenting partner for the assist of the day, week and tournament awards. These awards are being promoted via CAF's social network accounts throughout the competition. The African body has also signed sponsorship agreements with TikTok and Umbro for this 33^rd edition of the AFCON.

"As part of our mission to drive blockchain adoption and enable greater access to financial services for the world's unbanked, Binance has provided free crypto education classes to over 541,000 Africans since 2020," said the company.
