Serie A TIM: 12,265 spectators on average for Matchday 21, capacities at 5,000 for Matchdays 22 & 23

Matchday 21 of the 2021-22 Serie A TIM season drew an average attendance of 12,265 spectators per game from Sunday 09 to Tuesday 11/01/2022. The average fill rate was 32.8%.

Stadium capacities authorised by the public authorities in Italy have once again been limited to 50% since the end of December 2021, as was the case for the first seven matches of the season (it had then been increased to 75% in the period between). This cap was lowered further by the Lega Serie A from 15/01 to 05/02/2022, for Matchdays 22 and 23, with a limit set at 5,000 spectators, as was the case for the Ligue 1 Uber Eats (Matchdays 20, 21 and 22).

"This decision, taken in response to a request from Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi, demonstrates the great sense of responsibility of football clubs in the face of the emergency situation linked to the increase in Covid-19 cases in the country, despite full compliance with the current security procedures still adopted to control access to the stadium (via the 'Super Health Pass')," explained the Italian League on 08/01/2022.
