Australian Open: beIN Sports acquires media rights for 10 countries in Southeast Asia (2022-2026)

beIN Media Group has acquired the broadcasting rights to the Australian Open Grand Slam tennis tournament in Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Brunei, Indonesia, East Timor, the Philippines and Singapore for the next five editions (2022-2026), announced the Qatari pay-TV group on 12/01/2022. The agreement also includes the Adelaide (Australia, ATP 250) tournament.

"Viewers will be able to watch more than 14 hours of live tennis a day on the beIN Sports channels and, for the first time in Asia, all the Australian Open main draw matches across 16 courts will be live streamed via beIN's live streaming app, beIN Sports Connect," said beIN.

beIN Sports also acquired the rights to broadcast Roland-Garros from the French Tennis Federation for the 2022-2026 cycle, in the same 10 countries in Southeast Asia, on 07/01/2022.
