The Hong Kong telecommunications company i-Cable on 19/08/2014 extended its broadcast rights in Hong Kong for the Champions League for 2015-2018. i-Cable has held the broadcasting rights for the Champions League in Hong Kong since 2009-10.

The pay-TV channel i-Cable Sports will broadcast "about 100" Champions League matches per season, from the playoffs up to the final, i-Cable said. The channel also will broadcast the European Super Cup, in which the previous season's winners of Champions League and Europa League face off.

"Champions League games have always been very popular among local fans despite often having mid-week, late-night kick-offs in Hong Kong time. Their dedication and support are what make us so committed to bringing Champions League here again and again," said Ronald Chiu, CEO of i-Cable Sports.

2015-2018 broadcast rights of Europa League in Hong Kong were acquired by the pay-TV group Fox Sports Asia, which will broadcast all 205 Europa League games each season on its various channels.
