esports: Kia (cars) extends as a partner of the LEC (League of Legends) which begins on 14/01/2022

Kia Motors, a South Korean car manufacturer, has extended its role as an official partner of the 2022 League of Legends European Championship (LEC), which begins on 14/01/2022, announced LoL Esports, an entity belonging to Riot Games that manages the marketing of its European esports circuit, on 13/01/2022. Kia entered the world of esports for the first edition of the LEC (in 2019) by becoming the "official automotive sponsor" of Riot Games on 14/01/2019. The group is "the longest-standing partner" of the competition.

LG Electronics, a South Korean manufacturer of electronic products (TVs, smartphones etc.), is promoting its brand of gaming screens, UltraGear, by becoming an LEC partner for the 2022 and 2023 seasons. Mastercard (payment solutions), KitKat (Nestlé, confectionery) and Logitech (computer peripherals) are the other partners of the European competition in 2022.

The first week of the Spring Split 2022 begins with three days of competition on 14, 15 and 16/01/2022.
