Premier League media rights 2022-2025: acquisitions in Canada, Mexico and Central America

Fubo TV, a US-based streaming platform and sports channel aggregator, has acquired the exclusive and full broadcasting rights to the Premier League , in Canada, for the 2022-2025 cycle, on 13/01/2022. Fubo TV will replace the OTT platform DAZN which currently holds these rights in Canada (2019-2022 cycle).

This is Fubo TV's main rights acquisition since its launch in 2015. In Canada, Fubo TV's offering includes beIN Sports (which notably broadcasts the Ligue 1 Uber Eats), Mediapro's OneSoccer, Benfica TV, Fight Network, MLB Network, Paramount Network and Fubo Sports Network. Fubo TV also holds the rights to broadcast the Serie A TIM in Canada for the 2021-2024 cycle. Fubo TV's offer is priced at C$14.99 (€10.50) per month. The company announced that it had exceeded one million subscribers internationally (USA, Canada, Spain) in the fourth quarter of 2021.
