Supercopa de España: 1.14 million viewers in Spain for Athletic Club - Real Madrid (Telefonica)

Athletic Club Bilbao - Real Madrid CF (0-2), final of the 2021-22 Supercopa de España, played at the King Abdullah Stadium (62,000 capacity) in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia), drew an average of 1.142 million viewers on the Spanish pay-TV channel Vamos (Telefonica group), on Sunday 16/01/2022 (kick-off at 19:30 CET), according to data from the audience measurement institute Kantar. This figure represented an audience share of 7.8%.

The semi-finals, also played in Saudi Arabia, posted the following average audiences on Vamos (Kantar data):

• FC Barcelona - Real Madrid CF (2-3): 1.44 million viewers, Wednesday 12/01/2022 (kick-off 20:00 CET). Audience share: 9.76%.

• Club Atlético de Madrid - Athletic Club Bilbao (1-2): 669,000 viewers, Thursday 13/01/2022 (kick-off 20:00 CET). Audience share: 4.7%.

The Spanish telecommunications operator Telefonica acquired the broadcasting rights to the Supercopa de España in spain, for three editions (2020 to 2022), from the RFEF, on 05/12/2019.
