LFP: operation to promote the Ligue 1 Uber Eats in the USA via Sofive (5-a-side football) centres

As part of its international Ligue 1 Touch programme, the Ligue de Football Professionnel has launched a Ligue 1 Uber Eats promotional operation in the United States from 08 to 17/01/2022 in partnership with the Sofive 5-a-side football centres, according to the French League on 19/01/2022.

"For ten days, the nine Sofive centres (spread over five different states: New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey and California) were decked out in Ligue 1 Uber Eats colours: all the games on Matchdays 20 and 21, and notably the Olympique Lyonnais - Paris Saint-Germain match, were broadcast, the championship trophy was on display in one of the centres, and all communication was punctuated by competitions and quizzes based on Ligue 1 Uber Eats," explained the LFP. The event ended with a tournament titled the "Ligue 1 Uber Eats MLK 5v5 Cup" in which 200 male and female youth teams participated (see below).
