Covid-19/France: Prime Minister Jean Castex to remove capacity limits in Stadiums by 02/02/2022

From Wednesday 02/02/2022, establishments receiving members of the public who are seated will operate at full capacity without a limit, including: stadiums, concert halls, theatres, etc. "To access these places, the wearing of a mask remains compulsory," announced Jean Castex, Prime Minister of France, on 20/01/2022.

"From (Wednesday) 16/02/2022, we will lift the other measures: consumption will once again be possible in stadiums, cinemas and transport, as well as standing consumption in bars," added Castex, who presented a schedule for the easing of health measures imposed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The French Prime Minister also announced the entry into force of the "Vaccination Pass" on 24/01/2022 (subject to the decision of the Constitutional Council expected on Friday 21/01/2022), and the opening of the vaccination booster to adolescents aged 12 to 17. The vaccination pass requires (for anyone aged 16 and over) a complete vaccination report or a certificate of recovery attesting to a recovery from Covid-19 dating back less than six months.
