Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) implemented several initiatives to celebrate Chinese New Year (entry into the year of the Tiger, 01/02/2022) during its match versus Stade de Reims (4-0, Matchday 22 of Ligue 1) on Sunday 23/01/2022, announced the club on 24/01/2022.

"As is now the tradition, the Parisians played in kits with their names in Mandarin, while the Parc des Princes (Paris, FRA) displayed LEDs and banners in Chinese colours. Several Chinese personalities were present at the stadium including virtuoso pianist Lang Lang, musician Guo Gan, photographer Bai Moshui and the Chinese Ambassador to France. The Parisian players also recorded a happy new year video message, which was broadcast at the stadium and on Chinese social networks," said Paris Saint-Germain, which will open several stores and an academy in China in 2022.
