Sky: a turnover of $20.28bn and EBITDA of $2.4bn for the pay-TV operator in 2021

The British pay-TV operator Sky posted a turnover of $20.28bn (€17.9bn) in 2021, according to its parent company Comcast (a US media conglomerate and cable operator), on 27/01/2022. This figure is up by 9.1% compared to 2020 and up by 3.1% on a constant currency basis.

The pay-TV operator, which operates in the UK, Ireland, Germany, Austria and Italy, posted an EBITDA of $2.4bn (€2.1bn) in 2021, up 20.8% and 10.2% on a constant currency basis.

Sky had nearly 23 million subscribers (23.027 million) on 31/12/2021, an increase of 198,000 subscribers versus 31/12/2020.
